Three units. One group chat.
Offence, defence and special teams each need the right people on game day. See who's in by position before you find out there's nobody to snap the ball.
Everything in Pro for 14 days. No card needed. Runs in any browser, phone included.

Offence, defence, special teams. Twenty-eight positions.
A football roster is three teams in one, and benchli names every position in all three.
Offence
Who throws it, who catches it, who protects the one who throws it.
Quarterback, running back, fullback, wide receiver, tight end, left tackle, left guard, centre, right guard, right tackle and the offensive line.
Defence
Who gets to the quarterback, and who gets to the ball.
Defensive end, defensive tackle, nose tackle, defensive line, linebacker, outside linebacker, middle linebacker, cornerback, safety, free safety and strong safety.
Special teams
The six jobs nobody remembers until the punt.
Kicker, punter, long snapper, holder, kick returner and punt returner.

A quarterback's line is not a linebacker's.
Each player's season is filed under the headings football uses, not one long list.

Also kept: fumbles, fumbles lost, punts, penalties and penalty yards.
Years of taking hits and nothing to show for it but a sore neck?
Three touchdowns deserve a record.
The 100-yard day you'll hear about all season, benchli will catch it after the game and put it in front of the whole team. American football moments.
Three units, not three lines.
Here's what the football sheet covers today, and what is still missing.
Already in the playbook
- Twenty-eight positions in three groups: offence, defence and special teams, from quarterback to long snapper.
- Points that add themselves up from the plays you enter: six for a touchdown, one for the extra point, two for a conversion, three for a field goal, two for a safety.
- A passing line for the quarterback: attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns and interceptions thrown.
- Fumbles under their own heading, because any ball carrier can lose one.
- A defence box of its own: tackles, sacks, quarterback hits and interceptions.
- Penalties and penalty yards recorded, with fewer counted as better.
Still on the whiteboard
- Flag football as its own format: five a side, two halves.
- A two-way player listed on offence and defence in the same game lineup.
- Results worked out from points everywhere, not from touchdown counts.
- One touchdown count that adds up from rushing, receiving and return scores.
- Completion percentage, yards per carry and passer rating.
- Kick attempts, so field goals and extra points get a percentage.
- Forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, passes defended and tackles for loss.
- Return touchdowns, blocked kicks and a longest field goal, which would light up more milestones.

Common questions
Does it know offence, defence and special teams apart?
Yes. American football on benchli has twenty-eight positions in those three groups, from quarterback to long snapper, and every player gets one. A player who goes both ways can only be given one slot in a game lineup today.
Does it add up the points?
Yes. Enter touchdowns, extra points, two-point conversions, field goals and safeties, and benchli totals the points for you. The touchdown count is entered on its own, separate from rushing and receiving touchdowns, so fill it in as well.
Can we run flag football?
Not as its own format yet. American football on benchli is built for tackle: eleven a side and four quarters. The five-a-side, two-halves flag game is not set up.
How many players can we have?
Basic holds up to 20 players and Pro up to 40, which we can raise to 60 on request. A tackle roster bigger than that won't all fit.
Will it work out passer rating?
Not yet. It records attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns and interceptions thrown, but not completion percentage, yards per carry or passer rating.
Does it record field goal percentage?
Not yet. Field goals and extra points are counted, but kick attempts are not, so there is no percentage.
