Four women, four men. Know who's short before matchday.
Korfball is mixed, so one gap is more than a head count. Ask the whole squad early, get a yes, maybe or no from each player, and keep every goal on their record.

Eight on court, four and four.
A korfball side is mixed by rule, and the roles swap every two goals. Here is what that means for your week.
Count the four and four
Four women and four men start, two of each in each zone. Ask the squad early, so you know on Wednesday who you have, not at the door.
Pick the match squad
Up to sixteen players on the squad, so the eight who start and a full bench of three women and three men are all on it.
No positions to fill in
After every second goal, attackers become defenders and defenders become attackers. So a korfball team on benchli has no positions to choose.
Record the score
The final score, then each player's goals and shots, entered before everyone has left the hall.

Who scored, and how.

Eight goals in a game and the only proof is what your teammates remember?
Eight in a game deserves a record.
When milestones go live, each one will show on the player's profile and be announced in the team feed after the game. Moments, from a first goal to 500 career goals.
Mixed teams, no positions, goals by type.
Korfball is played four and four, with the roles swapping every two goals. This is what benchli does about that today, and what it does not do yet.
Already in
- Built on the IKF rulebook: two halves of 25 minutes and one point a goal.
- No positions to pick. Roles swap every two goals, so benchli does not ask a korfball team for any.
- Field goals, run-ins, distance shots and penalties counted apart from the goal total, so your long-range shooter and your run-in specialist each show up.
- Shots attempted and a shooting percentage worked out for you, because a goal count alone hides who is taking the shots.
- A squad from 6 to 16, which covers the eight who start, a bench of six and a short side.
- A game that ends level goes in as a draw, because league games can.
Not there yet
- A line-up check for four women and four men, two in each zone.
- Yellow and red cards on the player's record.
- Plain names and one-line definitions for the goal types, so every scorer counts them the same way.
- A default match length that counts the stoppages, so the hall booking fits the game.
- Golden goal and penalty shoot-out moments, which need the order of the goals.

Common questions
Does benchli check that we field four women and four men?
Not yet. You can pick the match squad and see who has said yes, but benchli does not check the four-and-four split or the two-per-zone placing.
Can we set positions like attacker and defender?
No, and korfball does not use them. Attackers and defenders swap zones after every second goal, so a korfball team on benchli has no positions to pick.
How many players can we have?
From 6 to 16 on the squad. On the day, korfball allows eight on court and up to six substitutes, three women and three men.
Which stats can we enter?
Goals, with field goals, run-in goals, distance goals and penalty goals counted separately, plus shots attempted. Shooting percentage is worked out for you. Entering stats comes with Pro, and the 14-day trial is Pro.
Can we record a draw?
Yes. A game that ends level goes in as a draw. benchli does not record a golden goal or a penalty shoot-out as moments yet.
Is this the Swiss sport called Korbball?
No. This is korfball, the mixed game played under IKF rules. Swiss Korbball, the sport run by the STV, is a different game, and benchli does not have a page for it.
